Rangers appear at crucial A-League fixture

Liverpool Rangers contributed players to the Hyundai A-League Mat Squad and Flag Bearers at Sydney Football Stadium prior to the match between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory on January 20.

The two-all draw denied Sydney the chance to win the minor premiership.

Club Secretary Judy Hughes said the junior players and team officials involved would never forget being part of such an exciting match at A-League level.

Eric Bate snr: I am a grandfather and I took my grandson to the game. Neither of us have been to a game before. I would like to thank you for the opportunity, we had a fantastic time. I will remember it always.

The Coach and Manager

I felt proud and honoured to take our team to the game and watch them with the Hyundai mat.

Kathy Disibio, Manager: This was a first time for almost all of the team to attend a professional game and I loved watching the excitement on their faces throughout the day. Most of the children will not experience such a fantastic day ever again. It was a great day had by all, and will be talked about for a very long time between team mates.

Mark Disibio, Coach: It was a great day. To be able to watch the game with my team was a great experience. I was able to point out to them different game plays and they were able to give me their thoughts and opinions as well. To be able to go as a team was an added bonus. The children and parents were all very proud.
