Rangers appear at crucial A-League fixture
Liverpool
Rangers contributed players to the Hyundai A-League Mat Squad
and Flag Bearers at Sydney Football Stadium prior to the match
between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory on January 20.
The two-all
draw denied Sydney the chance to win the minor premiership.
Club
Secretary Judy Hughes said the junior players and team officials
involved would never forget being part of such an exciting
match at A-League level.

Feedback
after the game included:
Jason
Disibio: The game was exciting and it was great fun to be
able to take the Hyundai mat out onto the field and to be
there with my team mates.
Jessica
Disibio: It was an exciting day, I loved the atmosphere, and
felt special to be asked to hold the flag for the guard of
honour. I saw the players up close, it was great for my first
time at a Sydney FC game.

George
Azzi: I had a great day. I felt proud being out on the field
with my team mates and to have my family watching.
Matthew
Disibio: I liked the feeling of standing out on the field,
especially at half time. It was my first real game and I got
to spend it with my team mates. Thank you.

Jake
Douglas: I am a huge fan of Sydney FC. I was excited about
going to the game, but to go out onto the field was the best.
Thomas
Jones: I had the best day. It felt great being out there on
the field with everyone watching.
Mandela
Opoku: It was my first game. I wish I could go again even
just to watch. I had so much fun.

Eric
Bate jnr: This was the first game I have been to. I had a
great time. It was a good day and I enjoyed it.
Mohammed
Hyland: I had a great day. I wish I could do it again. We
sat right up the front. My team had so much fun. Thanks.
David
Georgievski: It was the best. I always wanted to go on the
field. Now I can say that I did that. Thank you.
Alexander
Andrianopoulos: I'm a fan of Sydney FC. The day was the best
fun. I saw all my favourite players. Thanks for the experience.

And
from the parents and grandparents
Dave
Johnson: My son and I had a great day, I was proud to see
him and his team mates out on the field, they looked great
and I think they did the our club proud.
Eric
Bate snr: I am a grandfather and I took my grandson to the
game. Neither of us have been to a game before. I would like
to thank you for the opportunity, we had a fantastic time.
I will remember it always.

The
Coach and Manager
I felt
proud and honoured to take our team to the game and watch
them with the Hyundai mat.
Kathy
Disibio, Manager: This was a first time for almost all of
the team to attend a professional game and I loved watching
the excitement on their faces throughout the day. Most of
the children will not experience such a fantastic day ever
again. It was a great day had by all, and will be talked about
for a very long time between team mates.
Mark
Disibio, Coach: It was a great day. To be able to watch the
game with my team was a great experience. I was able to point
out to them different game plays and they were able to give
me their thoughts and opinions as well. To be able to go as
a team was an added bonus. The children and parents were all
very proud.
